At present, we do not provide any battery shipping services to North Korea (DPRK). All transportation channels for battery-related cargo to this destination are currently suspended or strictly restricted due to international sanctions, aviation safety regulations, and limited commercial logistics connectivity.

Battery products, including lithium battery, energy storage systems, and battery-powered equipment, are classified as regulated or dangerous goods under international air and sea transport rules. In the case of North Korea, these restrictions are significantly stricter due to geopolitical conditions and compliance frameworks enforced by major airlines, shipping lines, and customs authorities.

As a result, DHL, UPS, FedEx, and most international air freight carriers do not operate battery DG (Dangerous Goods) services to North Korea. Sea freight routes are also not available for commercial battery cargo transportation under normal logistics operations.

This includes all categories of battery shipments such as standard battery, high-power battery, oversized battery, and overweight battery cargo. Products such as mobile phones, solar energy storage systems, industrial power units, forklift battery systems, and ESS battery solutions are also affected by these restrictions when destined for North Korea.

In addition, sensitive cargo handling requirements such as UN38.3 certification, MSDS documentation, airline approval, and dangerous goods declaration cannot be processed through regular logistics networks for this destination.

Because of these limitations, all battery-related shipping requests to North Korea are currently not accepted. We strongly recommend customers consider alternative regional markets where compliant logistics channels are available, such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa, where air freight and sea freight networks are fully operational.
